PRIMO. INNOVARE.: the first event dedicated to connecting some of the best Italian most innovative startups with investors, venture funds and local leaders on the West Coast of the United States.
PRIMO. INNOVARE., held on November 16th, 2022 in Seattle, WA, was the first ever event in the Pacific Northwest entirely dedicated to innovative Italian startups. Ten startups from all over Italy were flown to Seattle to pitch to a panel of Accredited Investors and Venture Capitalists, with the chance to speak one-on-one with each Investor after the presentations. The event was introduced by the Italian General Consul of San Francisco, Sergio Strozzi, who gave a presentation highlighting the benefits of investing in Italian innovation. The panel featured John Cook, Publisher and Co-Founder of Geekwire; Tom Davis, Senior Director - Microsoft for Startups; Martina Welkhoff, Managing Partner of WXR Fund; and Marcello Majonchi, Group Manager of Amazon-AWS. Paired with the in-person event, the Serena team created a Virtual Experience where guests could later re-visit each pitch, allowing access to those who couldn’t make it to the event in person.
