Following the resounding success of last year’s inaugural summit, PRIMO.INNOVARE. made a triumphant return to Seattle this year. On December 4th, 2023, at the World Trade Center on the Downtown Seattle Waterfront, an exclusive assemblage of minds and ideas unfolded. This event marked a pivotal moment for connecting the best of Italian innovation with leading figures in the American aerospace and AI industries.

This year's event was a showcase of groundbreaking advancements from nine hand-picked Italian startups, each a pioneer in their respective fields, ranging from space traffic management and Earth observation to hyper-automation projects and advanced aerospace composites. These startups presented their unique solutions, opening avenues for potential collaborations and setting the stage for future growth and partnership opportunities.

The event featured an engaging panel discussion led by Michel Merluzeau, Director of Aerospace & Defence Market Analysis at AIR. The panel included industry luminaries such as Leonardo Baldaccini, President of UMBRAGROUP; Bill Lyons, Boeing Executive Director for Enterprise Technology; Giovanni Marchetti, Machine Learning Specialist at Google; and Taylor Hwang, Head of Strategic Relationships at Eviation. Their insights offered a deep dive into the current trends and emerging technologies in the aerospace sector.

The Deputy Consul General of Italy in San Francisco graced the event with opening remarks, setting the tone for a day filled with enriching networking opportunities and thought-provoking discussions. The event not only highlighted the untapped potential in the collaboration between Italian aerospace expertise and the dynamic Pacific Northwest (PNW) aerospace ecosystem but also provided a platform for these innovative companies to engage directly with global tech giants and investors.
